Welcome To Our New Head Chef

In 2019 we said “welcome” to our new Head Chef, Katie McCormick. By far one of the most notable changes made to the Radstone and our Opal Restaurant.

As we come closer to the end of the year and get ready to bring in 2020, let’s look back over this highlight! What did it mean for the Radstone and our Opal Restaurant?

Katie brought with her an energy to the kitchen and the food that it produces. “As head chef here at the Radstone, my Brigade and I are passionate about the food we produce. We always keep the guests we serve at the heart of our operation”.

Bringing with her a wealth of chefs experience, Katie hit the ground running in our Opal Restaurant and motivated her team through a seasonal menu change. Creating delicious dishes that brought the taste of the seasons festivities to the plate.

She also created this years long awaited ‘Festive Fayre’ Menu and a delicious Christmas Afternoon Tea. Both of which our guests and customers have thoroughly enjoyed!

It’s safe to say we are all excited to see what else Katie brings to the table in 2020. (excuse the pun). And we hope you all are too.
